Supporting Middlesex in the Community – SLAM – 20/20 Style Community Cricket Initiative
Woodward Estate Agents are proud to support Middlesex in the Community (MITC), the charitable arm of the prestigious Middlesex County Cricket Club, helping create greater opportunities for people across Northwest London to get involved in cricket and community sport.
Through our sponsorship of The SLAM, a fast-paced and accessible cricket competition, we are helping encourage wider participation across both the men’s and women’s game. The format is designed to make cricket more inclusive and flexible, opening the door for recreational players, younger cricketers progressing into adult sport, and members of the community who may not otherwise take part in traditional formats of the game.
Our support contributes towards key areas of the competition including sponsorship of player kits across the various teams, player development, umpire training, team equipment, community finals events, and matchday experiences that bring local clubs and residents together.
This partnership reflects our shared belief that grassroots sport plays an important role in building stronger communities, developing confidence in young people, and inspiring the next generation of cricket players across Middlesex and the surrounding London Boroughs.
