If you are acquiring a commercial property; you will need professional surveying advice. A Schedule of Condition or a full Building Survey is usually required. A commercial lease will normally have provisions for the service of a Schedule of Dilapidation; whether a schedule is being served or defended by a tenant, we are able to provide expert advice in these matters.  Finally, don’t forget if you are proposing building works, such as an extension, close to a neighbouring property or you are concerned that your neighbours are undertaking construction work close to your home, then this may be a matter for a Party Wall award.
